In order to improve the quality of clinical trials so that protection work for human subjects, ranging from institutions, research ethics committees, protocol principal investigators and researchers, can be arranged perfectly, and that the mechanism of protecting the subjects can be closely linked with the patients' safety system, China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) on September 5, 2013 set up the Human Research Protection Program Center, promoting the hospital's  Human Research Protection Program (HRPP), with HRPP tasks including: 

In addition to the Human Research Protection Program Center, the HRPP execution units include the advisory committee for the protection of human subjects, the research ethics committee, the conflict of interest committee, the clinical trial center, and the clinical trial pharmacy. And the overall planning, supervision, and coordination of the whole program are under the responsibility of the Human Research Protection Program Center.
